Heya! experiencing what I at least think is a small bug, not sure where else to report it but here!
It says I have a notification for the Legends quest screen, and has done for the majority of the game, but when I actually click on the tab t's blank. A reinstall did nothing, though I haven't tried backing up my files, uninstalling entirely, then putting them back after a reinstall, but I'm not entirely confident in knowing how to do so. ^^''
I uh... broke the game. First time i played it..... So, my computer started lagging out due to some other things i had turned on... So i exited out of the game. By clicking the X, not any in-game buttons. When I turned it back on, the fence and surrounding stuff was invisible, and i can't get it to reappear.... It's still very much playable, but either way it's a bug X/
I reviewed this for my site, https://scoffingames.com/2018/11/13/cheeky-chooks-beta-review/ . I really liked it, but I hope more things are added to keep me engaged. There needs to be more variety and reasons to keep playing it instead of waiting for chooks to lay eggs in late-game to complete tasks :-) Thank you for making this!
Ooh this game is fantastic! It's like some kind of idle/tamagotchi/tycoon game, with adorable ridiculous chickens. I tested it on my work computer, but I can't wait for the mac version to come out so I can properly invest in my chicken farm. :)
Sounds a bit silly and obviously wouldn't be a HUGE change to the game, but I thought it would be cute if underneath each individual chook description (chicken icon < click on a chicken's name < information about that chook) it would be cute to add more info to their personality? Maybe like:

Hi! We really underestimated how much people would want to play the game in a sitting (we have so many people asking just this!), and have some cool ideas on how to fix this. Right now the only way is to go in and manually make back ups of your save files. It always saves to the same place, so just reinstalling the game wont fix it. We have cool ideas on how to add new game+ or the ability to make new farms/profiles but it would be for at least another update, NEXT UP RACES! If you want to keep super up to date why not jump in our discord? Were super friendly/active and love feedback!
So fun, I also got all the halloween chooks! Please don't leave this game for dead, because it is super fun. I really want to see more chooks and special event type of things and updates!

I can't belive how much fun this is! I'm playing it on my phone and i can't say anything bad about it. For a free game it has a lot to offer. The graphics are really good for a free game too and the animations are so good! The game is only about chooks, but you can have fun for a really long time. I can't say anything bad about it. Not even the music gets boring and it's the same all the time! I have only one question: Are there predators, because i haven't seen any. My farm is still level 0 so maybe they will come wehn it's level 1? I hope so. A little difficulty with predators would be fun I believe. All in one a really fantastic farming game. I can't complain.

Great game. I love the soft soundtrack and the visuals. It's very cute and entertaining. There were points in the game that were pretty slow. You should add some fun little minigames involving the chooks that you own that will raise the stats of that chook a little everytime you play a game with them. Overall a great game. Keep up the good work!
Thanks a tonne for the feedback! We've had a lot of people say the same thing, and we've been smashing out some updates for the game to solve those issues. Whats fun is that we are making exactly what you are asking for here... :P We have some stuff coming up that we hope will flesh out the game a whole lot. We have added more interactions on the farm, you will now get attacked by pests/predators at night, as well as new buildings and chook types that will mix things up a bit. We are going to have a spooky event any day now that will start to introduce all this stuff... as well as the first Legendary Chooks.
THEN we have Chook Races coming. You will be able to train a chook (and eventually a team of chooks) to compete in races. :D Ofc the races will have a bunch of cool rewards and progression and all that cool stuff too. And even more Legendary Chooks!
I love the game! I wish it would get more features in the future but right now I am so satisfied with the demo because it's so relaxing and all the chooks are so adorable. I especially love their flying animations!

Thanks a lot for the feedback, its stupid late here but I will watch that vid first thing. :) We agree with the points you make here, ultimately we only had about 10 weeks to get it done (it was in partnership with RSPCA who are using it in a educational campaign). HOWEVER after we got so much love, we decided we needed to smash out some content and smooth out those rough edges. We are adding minigames, more direct interactions with the chooks, as well as unique one of a kind Chooks. So hopefully we keep you chookin until we can get that out... we HOPE end of this week, alongside an iOS version and Steam release.

I'm a massive fan of management and tycoon games, I remember when I got crazy addicted to Theme Park back in the day to the point I would wait until my parents had gone to bed and sneakily turn my Mega Drive on and play the night away. Good times!
Anywho, Cheeky Chooks really took me back to those carefree childhood days, with the added bonus of raising super cute chooks! The learning curve isn't too steep and everything is laid out really nicely so it's easy to know what you're looking at, what you're buying and what your goals are.
The chooks themselves are downright adorable, I love how they have various moods that pop up above their heads and that they have little squawky conversations between themselves.
Getting enough money saved up to get to the next farm level did take a wee bit of time though, which slowed the fun down a little bit. Getting to the next level was totally worth it in the end though, and I'm really looking forward to playing some more of this of hatching myself some more rare chooks!
I can't wait to see what additions and transformations this game is going to go through as you work on it more, and you can count me in for sure! Keep up the awesome work =)
Oh no! Sorry about the late reply its the weekend here. Golden Chooks are a lot more upkeep than the other chooks, at least -5 per chook. If you hatched a lot and then got unlucky with a rainy day, or low food this can really affect your happiness level.
The more Chooks you have, the more unhappiness you create due to crowding. If they get too unhappy Chooks will decide to leave until you bring the happiness back up. Or was there some kind of bug do you think that stopped you/made too much unhappiness?

Ahhh yeah that will do it unfortunately... You can also remove chickens from your farm if you run into something like that again. If you go to the chook menu, click an individual chook, you can use the garbage can icon to remove said chook from your farm.
Just logged on today.... I had 75 chooks before. I now have 9 chooks, and i was going to delete them all and start again but none will delete, and it keeps saying *blank* has left your farm for some reason... Oh, and my happiness is at -119. I guess that means I'll have to restart...
Absolutely love the game but why do the chooks pile up near the entrance? it seems like they want to just leave!! Its probably just some regular thing but i wish my chooks wouldnt pile up by the entrance ;///
I love this game so much! The chickens are so cute, and its so sweet how they interact with each other as if they are talking!! I also like how they can smash the pumpkins during the mini-game, it makes it so much easier to get money.
I love it! The progression is so nice. maybe there should be a super-care mode where, each rank up, the formula for egg laying rate goes 5 - happiness/25 + rank * 5 But there would be some way to increase the max happiness. However, I really do like playing the game! it is a great and very fun challenge all the way through.

Hello! I am playing via steam, is there an easy way to reset the game? I reinstalled but everything was still there. Not sure how to restart!

I just logged on, and my happiness was at -55 because I hatched a bunch of golden Chooks and about half of them left! What do I do?!
